Is
my donation tax deductible?
Yes, GSS is a 501(c)(3) organization, therefore all
sponsors will receive a tax deduction certificate. We
will mail a report to all our sponsors at the end of the
year letting you know just where your money was used.
Because our ministry is solely supported by sponsors,
both individuals and businesses, we greatly appreciate
every donation.
How does GSS get funding for their
events?
All of our funding comes from individuals or corporate
donations.
Is there an age
limit?
Yes, our ministry is setup for children between the ages
of 12 and 19, but there are exceptions, just contact us
for further information.
What are the
qualifications for children and their parent/guardians
to be involved with GSS?
The child can have a physical disability, a life
threatening illness, be from a single parent home, or
just a child that wants a chance to hunt or fish and the
parents/guardians may not know how to go about taking
them.
How do I become
a volunteer?
Complete a volunteer application on line or print it out
and mails it to GSS.
What do
volunteers do for GSS?
They go on events and help with the children. You might
be a cook, a guide, or be asked to give a devotion, or
just be the entertainment. What ever you do, if you have
a servants heart you will be greatly blessed and have
fun!
Do you have
events other than hunting and fishing for the children?
Yes, we try to have get-to-gathers such as the Sporting
Clays fun shoot , going to the races at Atlanta Motor
Speedway for Thursday Thunder, and other fun events.
I noticed your
ministry is in Georgia. Is there a ministry like yours
in my state?
At this time there are limited ministries/organizations
like ours in other states. If you would like to know how
to get one started in your state contact us and we will
be glad to talk to you about it.
